Stroud Parish Council are looking for new parish councillors and need residents to get involved.
Being a councillor is all about giving back to your community by bringing your energy, passion and drive to make a real difference to the local community and wider society.
We are a really friendly group of councillors who are keen to make a difference in our village. You don’t need any experience or qualifications, and you’ll gain lots of new skills, experience and knowledge.
We are currently working on projects to improve traffic and transport in the village, particularly relating to bus shelters and speed/volume of traffic. We are hoping to embark on a project to plant wildflowers in the village but we are always on the lookout for other improvements we can make and your input could be invaluable in helping us to do this.
