The Parish Council has a statutory right to be consulted on all local planning applications and these are discussed at the Council meetings. The council’s comments are then submitted to EHDC who manage the planning applications on behalf of the SDNP.
The Stroud Village Design Statement is used to guide councillors in their decision making.
Residents are always encouraged to contact the Parish Council at any time to discuss their own planning application, or to express views on other outstanding applications.
New planning applications are normally advertised in the local press.
Recent planning applications and decisions can be viewed via the Planning Section of the EHDC website.
